Celebrating RASMA 2024: A Graduation to Remember!

On 22nd November 2024, Quay Hall at Quayside Mall came alive with inspiration and hope as we celebrated the Roots & Shoots Malaysia Award (RASMA) 2024 Graduation Ceremony, graced by none other than the incredible Dr. Jane Goodall herself!

This milestone event highlighted the power of collective action, with the announcement of Yayasan Gamudas 5-year sponsorship (2025-2029), bolstering our programs impact for years to come.

Highlights of the day:

Opening Speech: by our President, TP Lim, set the stage for an inspiring event.
Partnership Milestones:
Yayasan Hasanah: Represented by Puan Intan Zalila Mohd Yusof, Chief Programme Officer, whose support has been integral to RASMA.
Yayasan Gamuda: Represented by Ms. Lim Hui Yan, Head of Yayasan Gamuda, affirming their dedication to empowering youth and sustainability.
CEO Action Network (CAN): Introduced by Ms. Luanne Sieh, Chief Sustainability Officer, CIMB, announcing an exciting new partnership for 2025.
A Special Birthday Tribute: Dr. Jane celebrated her 90th birthday with all our guests in a joyful cake-cutting ceremony, reminding us of her enduring spirit and commitment to our cause and mission.
Youth Project Showcase: Eleven of our outstanding youth leaders presented their impactful projects to Dr. Jane and the audience, demonstrating the power of young minds in action.
The ceremony concluded with an inspirational speech by Dr. Jane Goodall, leaving us all motivated to continue creating meaningful change for the planet.
