FOSTER APPEAL

Name: Mia
Gender: Female
Age: 10 years old

Once a community cat, Mia was brought to the SPCA in July 2024 after her regular feeder noticed she had sustained injuries. Upon her arrival, it was discovered that she was anemic, had a flu, and was suffering from multiple fractures a fractured right ilium and a fractured sacroiliac joint, which links the pelvis to the lower spine.

Thanks to the care she received at the SPCA, Mia recovered from her injuries while on cage rest. However, her chronic flu has made her one of the longest residents at our clinic. She does get a little nervous when her medication is administered but calms down quickly with some reassuring words and a soft touch.

Mia is litter-trained and enjoys human companionship, making her an ideal long-term foster or forever companion. She would thrive in a warm and loving home where she can finally settle down after all she has been through. If you are ready to open your heart and home to this brave and loving soul, Mia will be eternally grateful.
