On March 18, we celebrate Global Recycling Day, a movement dedicated to raising awareness about recycling and its impact on protecting our planet.

When we first started TCS, some of you may remember that our very first turtle-batik product was a straw pouch to carry a stainless steel straw and a straw brush. That was our first experience with merchandising, and we aimed to encourage people to move away from single-use plastic straws and embrace reusable ones. We still sell our Minum Set to this day!

Fast forward to today, thanks to our community empowerment programme, the women tailors in our programme now create a wide range of productsfrom fashion accessories, bags, and pouches to bucket hats and cardholder sets. All our items are washable, reusable, and eco-friendly, including our best-selling batu seremban.

Through this initiative, we are helping our local women become solution providers in a world filled with fast fashion.
