Thank you everyone for spending Earth Hour 2025, #BiggestHourForEarth, with us at the Sunway Centre for Planetary Health, Sunway University.

The night was full of warm camaraderie as we broke fast with our Muslim brothers and sisters during the holy month of Ramadan.

At 8:30 PM, as the countdown reached its crescendo, the lights dimmed, and for an hour, we embraced the darkness with the warmth of community. The scent of fresh meals from bustling stalls lingered in the air, drumbeats echoed in and around, and laughter intertwined with moments of reflection. As prayers were observed, a powerful reminder emergedlight is not just what we see, but what we carry within us.

Even in darkness, we find connection. Even in stillness, there is renewal.

Sustainability is more than just an hour without electricityits about how we choose to live, to preserve, and to protect the world we share. Tonight, we honoured that promise, together.

May we continue to be mindful stewards of our planet, embracing harmony between faith, community, and nature.
