New discovery!

A new population of the Southern river terrapin (Batagur affinis) was recently discovered in the Kuantan River, in Pahang!

It was previously only documented in Kedah, Perak and Terengganu.

With this discovery, Malaysia plays an even more important role in the conservation of this critically endangered species
