Whats a skill or lesson youve gained through RASMA that you now use in your daily life?
How to think globally, but act locally. RASMA has taught me how to bridge the gap between global environmental challenges and local action by modifying broad solutions to fit the specific local needs. Ive learned that even small, localized efforts can contribute to solving seemingly impossible larger global issues.

How has RASMA changed the way you see the environment or wildlife?
I used to see communities and the environment as separate concerns, but that perspective changed on my very first day of volunteering with RASMA. They are deeply interconnected. A healthy environment supports thriving communities, and engaged communities play a crucial role in protecting natural ecosystems. Its impossible to think of one without considering the other.

Whats one myth about volunteering that youd like to debunk?
That you need an environmental science degree or special training to make a valuable change. While expertise is valuable, volunteering needs people from all backgrounds, experiences, and skills. It isnt just about science; it also relies on community engagement, advocacy, education, and hands-on effort.
