SPCA Selangor Putra Heights Animal Relief Response Internal Operations Report Day 2 Date: 2 April 2025 Summary of Day 2 Operations Todays operations were focused on the continuation of animal extraction and relief efforts in coordination with local authorities and community volunteers. Operation Base: Dewan Camelia, Putra Heights (Morning) Relocated to Kuil Maha Kaliamman, Putra Heights for coordination and relief post setup (Effective tomorrow) Rescue & Relief Outcomes Total number of animals safely retrieved and treated as of Day 2: Cats: 17 Dogs: 3 Snakes: 2 (pet snakes) All animals rescued have been checked for immediate medical needs and are being monitored or reunited with their owners where possible. Operational Notes Approval to enter affected premises was only received late in the afternoon, limiting the number of extractions possible. Many pet owners responded and came forward to provide information about their animals. Relief Post was maintained at Dewan Camelia, with food distribution and First Aid station functional. Logistics & Resource Update Animal food and supplies distribution ongoing. Veterinary First Aid services were provided on-site. Volunteer turnout remained high. No additional volunteer recruitment needed at this point. All future pet owner assistance and animal care will be relocated to Kuil Maha Kaliamman, Putra Heights starting tomorrow. Next Steps (Day 3) Continue animal extraction operations from 9:00 AM 5:00 PM at new base. Ongoing medical care and food distribution at Kuil Maha Kaliamman.
