If there really were a what-if pill in this world

Then maybe,
he wouldnt dead alone in a cold corner of the street.

If someone had noticed his wounds a little earlier and sprayed some medicine
If someone had given him a Nexgard tablet to drive away the parasites
If someone had taken him to see a vet, just a little bit sooner

Maybe this tragedy could be avoided.
Maybe he could survive.

He was a stray male dog,
with no name, no home, no one to turn to.

He suffered from a severe skin disease, covered in painful wounds.
One gash was so deep, his bones were exposed.
Maggots fed on his flesh relentlessly.

We cannot imagine the agony he endured
how he waited for death, all alone, in unbearable pain.

By the time we were alerted and rushed to rescue him,
he was already gone.
He lay by the roadside, cold and still,
leaving this indifferent world with no one by his side.

We were heartbroken.
We were filled with regret.
We were too late to save him

We gave him a nameLetian (meaning Joyful Sky in Chinese).
We hope that, across the Rainbow Bridge,
he is no longer in pain, no longer wandering.
We hope he knowshe was loved.
Its just that
we were one step too late.

please dont hesitate. Please lend a helping hand.

A small act of kindness
a call, a share, a quick spray of medicine
could be the line between life and death for them.

Dont let the streets become their final resting place.
