Bonfires Story: Silent Strength
Bonfire is often lost in his own sorrow, a soul burdened by memories he refuses to let go.
He keeps his guard up, his eyes always distant
and we can't help but wonder:
When will he finally be free from the pain of his past?

But recently, something changed just a little.

Thanks to the kindness of Angel, who donated a large wheelchair, Bonfire was finally lifted from his long entanglement with the ground.
For the first time in ages, his body rose ever so slightly.
He moved slowly, stiffly but moved nonetheless.
And with each step, he gently stretched muscles that had long forgotten how to move.

Due to prolonged immobility, the muscles in his front legs and his left hind leg have severely atrophied.
They are so stiff, they can barely bend.
But Bonfire is trying.
And that effort alone speaks volumes.

Bonfire is neutered and currently in recovery.
He may not be ready to trust just yet.
But with time and gentle care, we believe this quiet soul will one day open his heart
and let the warmth return to his life.
