Today is Mothers Day. Wishing all mothers in the world health and happiness.

May this blessing also reach a special group of mothers in the shelter

Some gave birth by the roadside or in construction corners, only to face not safety, but being chased away, beaten, and watching helplessly as their puppies were run over by cars
Some were rescued while pregnant and brought to the shelter.

They are thin and dont have enough milk, yet they still lie on their sides, letting five or six hungry puppies push and suckle. When you approach, they watch you warily but if you crouch down and speak softly, they slowly relax, and even wag their tails.

Motherhood knows no boundary between humans and animals.

This Mothers Day, if you are moved, you can help these dog mothers by buying them a nutritious meal, or donating some puppy food.

Let them have a few peaceful days as mothers, and let their puppies have a full meal.
