Not every part of fieldwork happens in the forest. Sometimes, it is long drives, early journeys, and hours on the road before reaching the destination.

In Episode 2 of #FeelTheField, our journey to Ulu Sungai Menyang included an unexpected overnight stop in Sri Aman due to tidal conditions.

After hours on the road, the team finally arrived and took some time to rest and explore the town before continuing the journey into the field.

Fieldwork often involves flexibility, patience, and adapting to conditions beyond our control, and thats all part of the experience.
