WWF-Malaysia is deeply saddened by the passing of Dato' Dr Mikaail Kavanagh.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Dato' Mikaail will be remembered for his dedication, leadership, and the positive impact he made on the lives of many especially in the field of conservation. He spent 25 years with WWF-Malaysia where he led the organisation as CEO for 16 years, serving the role until 2006.

At WWF-Malaysia, we fondly remember and appreciate the support and encouragement he extended to initiatives that contribute to a more sustainable and resilient Malaysia.

As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate a life lived with purpose, conviction and dedication. May his legacy continue to inspire through the many lives he touched and the meaningful contributions he made throughout his lifetime.
