Today the vet gave us the news: acute malignant tumor + TVT. Without chemo, he has only a few months left. Chemotherapy can't guarantee a cure, but if we don't try, we won't even have a chance to grasp that sliver of hope. He looks at us with trusting eyes, as if he doesn't know that his life is being cut short second by second, like the ticking hands of a countdown clock.

We are not ready to let go. Even if the outcome is uncertain, we want to fight with him for every possible chance to survive.
