This is Ah Boy, whom we took in in 2018. He's quite the big boy, weighing around 24kg.

Due to years of a hard life on the streets, he has various issues, many of which we have solved. He is an excellent and alert guard dog that will bark at people who pass by.

We tried giving him a home life but unfortunately, he could not adapt and very often fights with our other dog who is also quite dominant. He also tries to attack the cats we have feeding and obviously goes after small animals.

He loves being in cars and will eat anything you feed him, and doesn't care about pills stuffed in his food.

As of 2 Nov 2020, he is being boarded at a clinic. He barks quite often, probably psychological, as he doesn't have health issues anymore. We brought in a dog behaviourist, but that didn't help. The constant barking has been terrible for our neighbours, who had to listen to his barking for years and this is amplified since many of them are working from home. They have issued us a formal complaint to report him to the authorities if this continues.

We cannot keep him at home and we cannot board him forever at the clinic as no one is walking him.

We would have loved to find him a home but perhaps a farm would be better suited for his temperament. He is not suitable to be around children or small animals.
